I'm hanging in there Mav, had the flu for much of January, thanks for asking. BT has a release on the website that may of interest to ET'ers. www.stocktrading.com/robfriesen.html Also, www.stocktrading.com/events.html All the best, Don
Don, is a good man. However, when I called him he was'nt intrested IN bund/bobl futures- he claimed it was to risky , and was only arsed about commisions, rather like an estate agent
Ya' gotta check out the website. http://www.stocktrading.com/ Where else in the year 2013 are you going to see one of those animated (spinning) gifs that draw your attention to something NEW? Maybe it's like fashion and circa 1990s websites will be hot again (can't wait for the shooting flame gifs). P.S. I know the site says an upgrade is in the works, but I hope someone saves a copy for the way, way back machine.
Whenever I get near the Bright website my anti-virus (ESET) indicates "JS/Kryptik.ADZ trojan" While I know that there has been some scandal with regards to ethics involving one of Bright's ex-office managers - this has to be some kind of mistake. I don't think Don would allow someone to put a Trojan on his site but then I also know what a technical Luddite he is and maybe he doesn't even know. Check it out Don.
Yes unfortunately a minority of antivirus engines do seem to flag it. Most do not though. I suspect that it could be a false positive due to use of iFrame etc. - I do not know. http://vscan.novirusthanks.org/analysis/2522cb982eb94201d30b00f82520b331/aW5kZXg=/ : Antivirus Engine Result Asquared 5.1.0.3 Exploit.JS.Blacole!IK Avast 5.0 - AVG 10.0.0.1190 HTML/Framer Avira 7.11.7.12 JS/iFrame.aex.6 BitDefender 7.0.0.2555 - ClamAV 0.97.4 - Comodo 1.0 - DrWeb 5.0.2 - Fprot 6.0 - IkarusT3 T31001097 Exploit.JS.Blacole Panda 10.0.3.0 - STOPZilla 5.0.0.0 - TrendMicro 9.200.0.1012 - VBA32 3.12.0.300 -
Seems unlikely to be a false positive if it names the specific trojan. seems more like Don's site has been hacked. One thing for sure is that whether related to trade decision support or websites Don has little or no clue when it comes to any kind of technical issue. BTW, Don - will you be playing any of the Deep Stack Events at the Venetian this month? So far it is a very well attended event w/plenty of cash action (over 10 2/5 games almost all the time, more than any other room in town). I will be playing the six split/mixed events. The first starts today at 1100. There are thee events per day, almost all of them NL HE. Here is a link to the schedule. http://www.allvegaspoker.com/events_detail_66.html Jack
