The Fed has come in to support the dollar twice in the last week, causing a short-squeeze in the equity markets. This sort of intervention (and other intervention that's not as obvious) must be killing the shorts (for example, Todd/minyanville went short this morning, only to get squeezed out (again)) ... What do you guys think of intervention, and will it come back to haunt us, or is there really no problem in a having a federal reserve that tinkers with the markets?
