Jack, CI therapy is really an amazing discovery. What do you think is pendant to it in learning to trade? By the way the topic neuroplastisity resembles a more profound (and physiological)version of Psycho-Cybernetics (Maltz).

  2. Hadn't read about this so thx for the subject guys:

    Very interesting.

Of course, the only thing that I would add is that it's most important to avoid a stroke in the first place! Most of us have decent grey/white matter: we just need to protect what we got from stroke and of course other things like Alzheimer's, aluminum, damage from diabetes/pre-diabetes, etc.

So keep the blood pressure down!!

  3. Good to hear you at that point in your reading.

Three operators are used in a multipurpose way.

This module for reading shows how spatial, movement and shape operators are used as a group.

The same is true for driving. skiing and sailing, gliding, tennis and thinking critically all fall under the spell of these operators.

Attaining long term memory is, in part, because of the repeated use of these operators to turn neurons and their synaptic connections into solid (1300 going to 2700) reliable memories.

As I walk to keep myself operational as possible, I am keeping my heart and respitory system functioning. we all need to generate 3,000,000 new cells a day and any shortfall in the DNA supplies from diet can allow malformations to get a leg up.

I also think as I walk in order to do critical thinking tasks that my mind has developed for me as I slept the night before. I am inducing new neurons to go to where they are needed by using the glial poles radiating up to the outer folds of my brain.

    It is fun.

I also have the troblesome hours of getting scooped out here and there and getting frosted on my surfaces. Luckily they are going to process me with biological paint and then trigger it with "light" to activate little Pac Men who will follow the trails. Livelt times and experoences.

We did the the pool extraction algorithm the same way for the mind building. The three operators each get to do their thing with each module and inside there are three focal points that relate to spatial, movement and shapes.

Its hard to explain how integrated learning to learn, creating a business plan and creating a trading plan all have the same spatial, movement and shape ingredients. The Imagination chapter points this out (Chapter 8).

As you read and see how people who had strrokes even years ago, are brought back to their prior to the stroke state by mental exercisies , you get to grasp what is at hand in learning the modules and building blocks of expert trading.

Here in ET we also see people who are utterly f*cked.

The daily drills and the fact that each level is identical are so supreme for intensive mind building. At this point it is becoming rather clear that an FA/TA comprehensive platform will turn a college student using it for a month into a trader who will never need credit cards or incur long term debt of any kind.

We needed a drilling machine for learning. Now the electronic world can be used to build minds. When you get to OCD and how the minds works (doesn't work), then you get to see how disasterous doing broken thinking is as a nonstoppable self imposed drill that never ends.

Repeated failure and going from lesser strategy to lesser strategy on the way to the trading exit is also exemplified by these three operators and the long term memory creation that is so devistating. There is no way such persons have a ghost of a chance to create a way, mind buildingwise, out of this kind of dilemma they created through personal choices.

Keep up the reading and be prepared to add a dozen or so books to the shelf. I feel at some point, a person having read Doige, can step up to the plate and go through our journals and just build their minds to a competence level that enables them to do anything they want financially.....
