Dogecoin lagging?

I’m not worried about Dogecoin lagging behind Bitcoin and other altcoins. Dogecoin is a meme coin that thrives on social media hype and celebrity endorsements. It doesn’t have the same fundamentals or technical advantages as other cryptocurrencies. It’s more of a fun and speculative asset that can surprise us with huge spikes and dips. I think Dogecoin will eventually catch up with the market sentiment and rally again, especially if Elon Musk or other influencers tweet something positive about it.

Reddit has switched from pumping Doge to HOLO recently, lol. Not sure how long this will last, but those who got in early made big bucks, those who aped in at the top lost a chunk by Friday after-hours.

We've already seen how this ends before...

 

The 5-year chart for HOLO is a hoot.

 

The Elon effect has been a negative effect for at least the last 3 months.

He has his hands full but I can see Doge becoming the currency of Twitter/X eventually.

I read recently the moon thing is happening 22nd of this month.Dont know much about it and dont know how true that is.

My other thought is that it is difficult to be the meme/fun coin and also attract serious big money investors who have to answer for their decisions.

Keep an eye on the market cap,that is where it has performed.It has an infinite supply so the price will struggle without some big news.

Also,my charts have it performing OK recently.Up nearly 7% for the week and over 15% for the month.

 

If we go by the chart we could be seeing .35 .40 cents by summer...so I think I am just going to load up on coin instead of margin...I always get antsy to take profits when I am paying overnight fees.

Another interpretation has us back down to .06 around March so I'll just wait and see.

I always tried buying laggards but what happens is the rest doesn't follow but then it all dumps

if BTC dips to 46k$ these alts gonna wipe off -30%. But maybe it doesn't, who knows
