You went with the libtard it is totally different playbook. It is different. Obama's plan totally failed and Trump's will succeed.
Like I said, Obama's plan was terrible. It was a publicity stunt. Trump's plan is not smoke and mirrors like Obama's plan.
Let's take a look at the absolutely false claims from DOGE. At best they appeared to have "saved" a mere $2 Billion at this point. DOGE subcommittee didn’t ‘discover’ $2.7 trillion in improper federal payments https://www.statesman.com/story/new...ion-in-improper-federal-payments/79465244007/

If the following is accurate, this is a smoking gun with respect to USAID. Case closed. The argument is over. Ah, nothing screams 'government efficiency' like squandering billions with the finesse of a toddler with a credit card. Bravo, USAID—truly a masterclass in turning taxpayer dollars into global disappointment. Effectively, USAID had a cost basis of $355,000,00 per house in Haiti. Now that is a epitome of efficiency. Yeah, let's keep that going. Where is all of the fucking money going? The last thing we need to do is find out. That would be stupid. Why the fuck would we want an accounting of how the government spends our tax dollars. Excerpts below. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/worl...ons-in-haiti-and-around-the-globe/ar-AA1zzvLv How USAID squandered billions in Haiti and around the globe DOGE wants to see where our tax dollars go, and we should let them. No surprise that the “government industrial complex” will resist every effort to bring transparency and accountability to how those funds are spent when the system is ripe with problems. I’ve had first-hand experience with USAID and other international aid organizations, such as the World Bank, UNESCO, and even the Red Cross, during my 40-plus trips to Haiti after being invited by then Haitian President René Préval to help rebuild the nation following the devastating 2010 earthquake. And I’ve seen how USAID, along with other NGOs, delivered on very few of their promises, failed to coordinate relief activities, and even skimmed money off the top. The continuing disaster status in Haiti and so many similar places is in part a product of these agencies’ handiwork. What happened in Haiti captures, at the very least, the incompetence — if not the outright corruption — of these international relief organizations. There is probably no more corrupt government agency than USAID. Since the 2010 earthquake in Haiti killed as many as 300,000 people, the US government has disbursed around $4.4 billion in foreign assistance to the small island nation. At least $1.5 billion was disbursed for immediate humanitarian aid, while another $3 billion went to recovery, reconstruction and development. Of the at least $2.13 billion in contracts and grants for Haiti-related work, less than $50 million, or 2% went to Haitian organizations or firms. By comparison, $1.3 billion, or 56%, has gone to firms located in or near the US capitol. Little wonder USAID is so threatened by the sudden scrutiny. The Red Cross has refused to make available a list of the specific activities they conducted in Haiti, only providing a breakdown of the funds into large and non-descript “sectors” on their website. One of these sectors, shelter, proved to be particularly misleading, having promised residents new homes, health centers, and sanitization systems in the Campeche neighborhood. But three years later, none of these promises were kept.
As I stated earlier -- there are plenty of reasons to reign in USAID. However Trump and Musk did not have to invent fantasy contracts that did not exist to make a case for making cuts in the agency. Just point to the factual information -- like the money provided to terrorist organizations, the failures in aid to Haiti and other countries, and countless other documented issues.
Your fact- checkers are wrong. They didn't make up fantasy contacts. However, Musk clearly stated the wrong number wrt the $8m. If you are open to an objective, honest, and civil debate, we can go through each line item in the article that your previously posted.
Of the dozens of contracts proclaimed by Trump and Musk to be fraudulent at USAID -- only ONE of the contracts actually existed. This is easily provable in the federal government contracts database and is outlined in the numerous articles from respected media outlets which outlined the false claims about USAID from Trump and Musk. Tell us again about the $50 Million in condoms for Gaza. Or was it the $100 Million that Trump claimed.
