Don't know where you live. Locally in North Carolina, the DMV employees are viewed as very helpful people who hustle hard. The DMV is slammed and overworked but the experiences of going to visit it are generally pretty good -- especially if you schedule your appointment in advance.

There are other parts of state and local government in N.C. where employees are viewed as lazy and rude --- but not our DMV.

Our biggest complaints locally are with the U.S. Post Office. The mail is regularly lost or late. The post office is disorganized. The primary issue is that the people working there are primarily contractors, not employees. The contractor stuff (delivering the mail, etc.) regularly churns. Most last a few months at longest before moving on. Long gone are the days when you had the same post office mailman (or should I say person) for many years who was a direct employee of the USPS with a pension, benefits, etc.

Apparently the idiots in DOGE don't understand how WinZip licenses work and that some employees have mulitple computers and the licenses are needed on servers, etc. Additionally you want to have a spare supply of licenses over time for new employees, contractors, server hardware, etc.

And if instead it flowed to millions of non-profits it would have been said ......... how in the world can they have a handle on that????????????????

Also is there so a thing as not politically connected non-profits?

And of course what DOGE is doing is purely non-political bwahahaha

    That's a good one.

But curious if that is a Georgia cemetery by chance where Dotard wanted Raffensperger to get him those 11,780 votes? haha
