The licensing business has very attractive operating leverage characteristics. The firm has won five major lawsuits and now receives royalties from all of the big four in the DRAM market. The firm is approaching an important legal decision on December 1st as the International Trade Commission is set to issue a ruling in the wireless case. The suit involves the company's patent infringement motion against Motorola (NYSE: MOT - News), Freescale , Spansion (NasdaqGS: SPSN - News) and Qualcomm (NasdaqGS: QCOM - News).
