    fantastic post.

Too add. Health is the most valuable of all. We realize that the rest was always noise once it fails.

  2. There's plenty of rags to riches and back to rags again stories. Sounds like you had a bit of luck on your way. Nothing wrong with that.

If you've had good luck, you can have bad luck, too.

The only place your money is really safe is a place where you can't risk it. Keep it out of harms way. :)

    Yes.

Generating wealth and maintaining wealth are different skillsets. Once you've won the game, mindset should shift somewhat toward preservation. This is a common struggle.

preach it - i find you can do one of the two fantastic but you can't do both.

you either make money or conserve it - neither can be done in unison.

  5. What he said makes sense if you have a horrible life, full of stress from a shit job.

But if you live like I do drinking juices under the sun with zero stress everyday, you want fuck loads of money. The more the better.

Juices are cheap and the sun is free.

    I don't deny money help, I wouldn't be here.

But if there are health issues that money can't fix, or one lives in a war torn country, there is stress.
Being stress free implies a few things that are more important than money.

Have you ever considered hedging open profits when a pullback is expected?

I do this all the time in long term futures.
