Does TWS support multiple cpu cores?

Does anyone know if, and to what extent, TWS supports multiple cpu cores?

 

TWS is java based... I never paid attention since I have more cores and threads than I need, but I would venture to say yes... since I am curious, I will check though...

 

TWS is a multithreaded application; hence, it is using multiple cores.

 

So a quad core with hyper threading is best?

 

Well, not sure what is the best, but TWS will gladly use multiple cores.

Why do you care if it works with multiple cores? I haven't seen any TWS features that perform CPU-intensive operations.
