Does trading wear you out?

  1. Its the current state of the market - low volume, low volitility, and range bound - where countertrend strategies prevail. If anyone tries the trade a market like this all day long - yes it can wear you out. I deal with this situation by setting a trail stop and profit target for the day on low volume days with no news. On trend days I'll put in more hours. The great thing about this way of trading is that it frees up time to do other things. And most traders will agree that freedom was one of the major reasons they became traders in the first place so why chain yourself to the moniter all day long. Besides after your up a certain amount on most days, the law of diminishing returns sets in unless your really in the zone or its a huge trend day.

What would be so difficult to believe about 50% returns?
