If there are hundreds of those correlations historically and they are indicating right direction for most of the times, its promising.

  2. Ok, bought 2 Oct 17.5-strike calls in BLMN at 9:45am for 0.41 ea., sold 2 20-strikes for 0.03.

    Alternately, "bought" at $17.18.

@931, yeah, it looks really good.... just trying to make sure I'm not falling prey to some bais.

  3. Did some math -- TOTALLY OVERPAID FOR THAT. Oh well. For archival purposes, let's just say I bought at 17.18 and I'm not an idiot. Looking at a 3-week timeframe or so.

  4. Still 17.23... 8 days later. Caught the falling knife from the handle. But don't think I'm making money on it.

So now let's try BUY ALCOA (AA) @ 26.44.

  5. Hi Mike,

On those charts you posted earlier for BAC and JCP, is there any option to view the raw data on the basic subscription i.e for example could you switch between chart and data modes?

    Thanks,

    Jose

  6. AA $28.37... Sold at the close. More than made up for the BLMN loss...what next?

Will update. And I';ve been thinking more about this and trying to find reading material (not much out there) and it's making more sense. I've been doing kinda 'papertrades' too, looking at history in some of the bigger stocks and it's looking really good. This is a better-than-50% thing as far asI can tell. I mean, that AA trade was incredible with leverage.

I would never have decided to bet on a reversion if it weren't for the dark pool data... but there it was and I went for it.

Hey Jose, good question. It seems to me like they're on lockdown about raw data. Probably they charge (a lot) extra for raw, because the pro/premium subscription is like $4500 a year and i don't even know if that includes raw.

Should email them about that one.

  8. Guys, i've been following this company's twitter as well and I noticed a lot of good calls in the past as well... CME, SPY, KMI, RGR etc., and being able to check the validity myself on the platform i was pretty impressed and i think I've gotten better at reading the data. Oh yeah, and they posted about SIRI a few days before it popped but I didn't get in on that.

Anyway --I'm surprised this thread hasn't attracted anyone who seemst to know more about the dark pool stuff, but that just makes me think that this is real and misunderstood edge.

Combined with some good risk management I've been doing really well just using this without using anything else. And the incredible part is that i can be nearly 50/50 on short-long calls using this method and therefor feel very netural on the market.... even though practically i have more longs.

Wish someone had some more insight... but for now this is working for me.

  9. FB @ $118.10

  10. Lol FB now $121.77.

I'm starting to understand this alot better so I will probably stop posting since noboy else seems to understand. FE made money in 9 days. BLMN didn't but i had too short a term (went way up a bit too late). AA went wayyy up and I made money. GRPN trade is open and it's staying under 4.08.

Things i didn't trade like RGR, CME, KMI were crazy good too.

And FB just went up like 4% today and that just bout seals that deal. Acct up substantially so i'mma keep making hay. If anyone want more info just post or message me or whatever... maybe 'll start a journal thread but I think I'm good for now.
