Does the fed inflating the dollar help us in the long run?

    Zeitgeist video, a classic.

However, watch out, while they truly expose the banking system, the ultimate goal (and hidden agenda) of these Zeitgeist videos is to give us a completely distorted view of Christianity...

I'd like to see Zeitgeist's explanation for why the Sun Goes around the Earth. I'm sure it would be very convincing and all make perfect sense. . I mean it's obvious isn't it. You can actually see it goes around. Just go out side and watch the sun. It will go around the Earth! I promise you.

Actually a distorted view of almost everything, I would say, INCLUDING the banking system. Now we can begin to understand why their are so many people that think things that make sense to them, but are not correct. Zeitgeist! Got to love it.

    You are quite welcome.

What is truly shocking is that the vast majority of people have no clue how money is truly created. Go to your local cafe or bar, ask them the question and nobody will be able to answer you, all you will get is a blank stare.

That much is true, the sun (and the moon) move around the earth. The earth itself is flat and does not move.
The outside ring is Antarctica (see image below), an area still off-limit for most civilians, for obvious reasons...

Too many armchair economists only focus on the future value destroyed by inflation and not the future value created by fiat money. Before the federal reserve came along, people had to put 50% down on their homes and had 5 years to pay. How many homeowners would be able to buy a house if we went back to that? Many of you are also forgetting about the wealth and technological progress created by fiat.

Banks wouldn't be able to loan out billions for projects if they had to rely on savings deposits. The technological and societal progress would've been about 75% slower had we not implemented fiat money. In 2020 we'd very likely be at a 1940 level of progress. Poverty before fiat money was at 56%. Today it's at about 12%

Ben Franklin even touched on the benefits of money printing in his autobiography.

It would help to reduce the national debt... Which would be of an interest to the treasury...
