I don't believe it is discretionary at all when someone says that. I believe they have a set of rules from studying charts very long time and take trades based on that. It is like if you puked out of the sky and wanted to cross the heavy traffic street, you watch other people how they do it or ask how do they cross the street then they do the same. And when they could also do this

I agree they're using rules but without knowing how to program they're ignoring the insight it would provide into how most of their competitors trade.

Love Seinfeld but already too many distractions. Now it's even more difficult to get anything done here. :D

If something is posted it can be very obvious for one person, but an eye opener for somebody else.

  6. Don't waste your time on this. Use what you think is valuable for you, and leave the discussions about "who is the best" to others. These discussions are useless. :)

As someone else said, lots and lots of the traders on ET will claim to be making 20+ ES points per day. There's no way to know who's the best or who's even telling the truth!
Romik seems to think you're the best from your claims. Quite a few people would have said DBPheonix is the best trader on planet earth based on his claims. JaclHershey claimed to make 40k per hour once, and lots of people here say he (was) miles ahead of anyone. A few traders in this thread have claimed to be using the market as a 'free money ATM machine' everday like hitchslap, who probably has people who think he's the best on ET. Nodoji has a small group of traders who say she's the best there is etc etc etc etc.
    All pointless guessing

Like it or not everyone has at least an eventual stop loss, yet it's unpopular practise to post a stop publicly. Obviously claims for high win rate decline whenever stops are being announced. Whenever I see a post I AM SHORT ES (NO STOP) this confirms the poster is totally new to risk management and hasn't yet had his own ass handed to him. But it always eventually happens.
