Does TA work better or worse on lower or higher time frames?

    Yes i like the higher numbers /time frames.LOL As far as being pedantic, fine in a practical precise way/perfect way. Perfect does not just mean we hit the target 100%;perfect also means mature.:D

    Ok. To use the definition you’ve provided, let’s look at an amplified sound system for it has very specific definitions of noise within the system.
    This electrified circuit is like the computer hardware/software display that participants use to view the market’s operation.

    With music reproduction, the closer it replicates ‘real’ performance is the determining factor to measure it’s quality. Ultimately it is how close this electrified circuit replicates the ‘feeling’ of the live performance.

    I assert we are not discussing ‘noise’ within the system but more specifically the difference in interpreting market data as the source of noise.

    In reading the market accurately one has to start with the fundamental units of measure. To get to a fundamental unit of measure we can start with a point that you describe - noise.
    Let’s put this point on the center of a blank sheet of paper. At this point there is a desire to obtain a goal. A goal defined as someplace different than where we are. Let’s put this point due east less than halfway between the edge of the paper and our center point. This point let’s call signal.

    So we have two points separated by space. If we take a compass with it’s center at our first point and use the second point as a radius, we can draw a circle with the center as noise and the point of signal on the circumference. Since we exists in a dualistic universe let’s take the opposite view and place the center of the compass at signal with the point of noise at the radius and draw a second circle that intersects the first.

    We now have a union of two domains where signal and noise both co-exist. The line that connects the two can be thought of as time coming into being.

    Interestingly enough if one draws a vertical line from the top point of where the circles intersect to the bottom point where they intersect, it crosses perpendicularly the horizontal line that connects signal to noise.

    Point three and point four.

    As above, so below in equal measure.

    Symmetry comes into view.


    We now have a familiar bar - the doji.

    Many folks consider a doji a signal, many consider it noise. Therefore since they both exists as true our model describing a phenomenon might be on to something. And then again it might not.

    Co-incidence?

    Be sure to consider all known life goes through an observable process of differentiation via cell division through gestation. The processes by which we experience relative states of awareness and consciousness go through the same cycles of differentiation/unity.

    The in-organic processes of industry goes through the same oscillation. Consider the refining of raw materials require differentiation before being recombined into a new unity.

    Back to our doji, we now have a unit of measure from the horizontal line to the intersection of the circles above and the intersection below. This gives us our ‘tick’. A high or low. This tick is the only place where profits can be extracted. It is price translating from a equal and balanced measure of the horizontal line. The horizontal line Being the open and close.

    Two points, four lines - two circular, two linear. We can call these elements. The linear ones can go through more differentiation. The horizontal line can be divided at the vertical. The vertical line can be extended or contracted in either direction from the horizontal.

    OHLC - the four element’s limits. These only exist through the presence of the fifth.
    The fifth element determines the existent of the other four. If it’s not present neither are any of the above.

    Therefore it can be considered the four elements are dependent on the fifth.

    The insights keep building. The correlations continue to illuminate. The domain of sacred geometry is the basis for the above contemplative exercise.

    Observing underlying natural laws and principals support connecting the dots.

    To get to the answer of the OP question,
    We could continue building on the above distinctions.

    usually more to come.May not apply to bitcoin, but if IB was not factoring in Fidelity, the Boston behemoth takes it for coffee in their cafe, could be a floor, on that.And if some commercial traders + investors will not admit to TA.Thats OK + fine with me:cool:
