Does science make belief in God obsolete?

  1. We weren't debating anything because your facts were incorrect.

An "open mind" on something that is factually incorrect does not compute in my book.

I gave you my opinions straight up the entire time I communicated with you. Why would I not want to fly my colors with you? Everybody that I have come across so far in this forum has flown their color except for you. You are playing games which I found intriguing initially because I like puzzles, but a puzzle without a resolution is no fun.

For some reason you think that there is a group or one person masquerading as many here out to get you.

Be careful Gringinho. Paranoia is not something to be trifled with.

You weren't debating with the Torah. You were debating with me. My name is Bernard Richards -- not Torah.

Yes, debating can be pointless and frustrating if you want to foist your opinions upon others.

Ok, now leave me be. Puzzles without a resolution are a downer.

BTW, I have now placed you on my ignore list.

    Bernie:
    >I liked some of the things that he
    >wrote, and I told him so.

I find no flaw with that.

    >Hence, in my book he earned his honor.

That's different from your original "honor" statement. Had that been your original honor statement we wouldn't be having this exchange.

    >Why so severe today? Rough day?

Why do you consider someone respectfully disagreeing with you "severe"?

  3. There is no disagreement between us.

    That was just a joke.

You weren't part of it so you thought I was being serious.

Severe in the sense of being so precise over a triviality.

I never saw you being this feisty before hence the question.

  4. Generally, a religion will stand for one of two ideas: guilt or innocence. The teachers of innocence lead toward heaven. The teachers of guilt lead into/around hell, that is, this world [pre and post "Big Bang"]. The concept of guilt led to the Big Bang. So here is cause and effect in order. The world exists to hide and maintain guilt as a valid concept. There is eventually a "revolt" against this "religion", which is basically of and for the world as is. It is all about the status quo. So religion has become synonymous with the teachings of guilt. The Torah teaches guilt. Laws teach guilt. Lawmakers teach guilt. But always remember, the concept of guilt precedes all of the institutions and religions which maintain and perpetuate it. Guilt is a false concept...an insane notion taken way too seriously. Since guilt is a false foundation, this world is built "upon the sand". And it will fall.

On the other hand, a truth seeking religion will distinquish between the concept of guilt and actual innocence by looking beyond appearances. The body itself is an appearance directly connected to the concept of guilt. If there were no such concept, there would be no such self-concept as "man". Without guilt held in mind as having value, the body would also not have value, and would literally disappear from the sight of your minds eye.

The reason the world still seems to persist in anyone's experience is because I do not, the Holy Spirit does not force his views on anyone. That is because everyone is considered an equal will, even though the expression of personhood is a false "doupleganger" type will. It was Christ's will to express a false will, and this will is respected by the Father and the Holy Spirit which is saving/has saved the Son. This is why it is imperative that the world be voluntarily released from your own valuation of it...if you are to be saved from the concept of time and all it has to offer.

My purpose is the same as yours: To share everything I know about the "market" free of charge. :D I specialize in brokering the ultimate, long-term trade, which exchanges this world for the ownership of all of reality. It's really a no-brainer: Everything for nothing. However, the world is not yet percieved as nothing to you, so the exchange would seem to "cost" you something. As long as there seems to be a price for reality, it cannot be brought to your awareness because there is no such concept of paying for anything when everyone - Christ - has everything without limit. I offer a comparison that you may have a choice. Until you have a comparison, you have no choice but to support the concept of guilt.

The thread is pretty stupid. Religion is like beauty...it's in the eye of the beholder. It's not objective like science. It does twist your mind by claiming to be true...it's called "faith" which is required to pretend that a myth is real and drink the Kool-Aid.

  6. The world is pretty much a religion, in the eye of the beholder, twisting his mind by claiming to be true, requiring faith - and science - to pretend that myth is real. Plenty of Kool-Aid here.

Not really...jump off the top of the mountain into the arms of your gods and you'll crash to the Eath and die.... it's called gravity.
More powerful and consistent than all the gods put together.

  8. Gravity is a rediculous "law" made up by the insane mind that makes this world. It *proves* that limitations are real. A Son of God need not obey such inane laws. I denied such law, and many witnessed the effects: ascension.

OK, why not stop over to my house and do a little "ascending". I'd love to get some pictures. There is a nice park by the freeway....you'd get a good audience. Say in about 30 minutes?

Being divine of course I don't need to bother telling you where I am...right? You know already.

  10. ... hehehe
and Jesus, when you go over to that park - be sure to bring your running shoes - because so many of your "soulmates" have been put in tight jackets to make them "straight". You seem like a really twisted person, and I think diversity is a Good Thing.
