Anyone who empowers you to make a choice between truth and illusion is your savior. That could be your next door neighbor. But to be saved by your neighbor, you must love your neighbor as yourself. You will find that you and your neighbor share the same Self...Christ. If you love your neighbor as yourSelf, you will literally see the symbol of Christ in this world. I will call that symbol "the face of Christ". Seeing "the face of Christ" in your neighbor enables you to see yourself as Christ. This leverages and reverses the laws of perception in your favor, rather than against you. This empowers you to choose to be Christ. In this you are saved. Science does not concern itself with religion. Science is concerned with the natural laws, religion with superstition and myth. They are hardly compatible, and to suggest that Science has anything whatsoever to say about religion by posing a question such as "Does science make belief in God obsolete?" is absurd. The concept of obsolescence can not even be applied to religion. Belief in the supernatural and myths, by definition, can not be "obsolete", since these beliefs are concerned with things that never existed in the first place. To say that something that is imagined is obsolete or no longer of use is ridiculous. It's as if i were to say: "Willy Wanka and the Chocolate Factory is obsolete"
Salvation is for the mind that has been driven mad by guilt. Bodies are the symbols, a kind of end-product, of a mind driven mad by guilt. So long as you can see only bodies, you are in need of salvation: the ability to choose between the sight of bodies, or the vision of Christ...between truth and illusion. Bodies are illusions. Bodies blind the mind that values them. The sight of them de-values [adulterates] the meaning of love, which is found only in oneness and unity. If you see bodies, this is proof that you have withdrawn into insanity, within the mind of Christ. Contrary to popular belief, *our Father* has no involvement in the making of bodies at all. In fact, bodies make it impossible to remember our Father or know anything about Him. To see your neighbor as a body does his reality no favors, and keeps him trapped in hell. Thus, you are either for or against Christ at any moment. There is no neutrality in this regard. Yet it seems there is no choice but to see bodies. It seems you have no will to see anything other than bodies. If you did have a will to see otherwise, it seems completely "lost" to you. A "savior" restores will-power, and so empowers choice in this matter. To see beyond the body...to see the "face of Christ", is a miracle. I ask you to "do" this miracle, "in remembrance of me". And if you can see "me", you will recognize the Son. If you can recognize and appreciate the Son, you will remember and recognize our Father, for there is no difference between us. We are one. Jesus
What is your point? That scientists are sometimes wrong? Of course they are sometimes wrong. Science is not based on an appeal to authority, but rather on an appeal to evidence.

So what you're saying is this: A: Thousands of Christian believers can, in good faith ask their Lord for help in healing the sick. These hypothetical believers are blind to the testing -- they only believe that someone needs help and have agreed to pray. B: Thousands of deserving Christian believers who are sick can, in good faith believe they are being prayed for. These hypothetical believers are blind to the testing -- they only know they are sick and would appreciate any help their Lord is willing to give. C: This God then will say "Screw them -- there is a test going on here ... I'm gonna show them and not help any of them. I WILL NOT BE TESTED!". Reason # 4,356 the god you worship is is an A#$h$le. JB
