%% Good thing you are not running the capital markets or banks or market makers/specialists. I like it just fine + i don't run any of those.....................................................
You seem to think PFOF is a good thing. I guess you know nothing about market making. As I said, the current structure is leading to a monopoly. Think about it. It is impossible to do a startup that buys order flow. Do you seriously believe it's a good thing if citadel is on the other side of every single retail trade? I much prefer a fair system where everybody can participate in the market on either side.
Rebates for taking liquidity and fees for posting. Of course, the inverse exchange would have to be on the NBBO...but good chance that would be the case in the highly liquid stocks mentioned by the OP.
Oh I know what you are referring to, the thing is most people who trade like the OP is not only doing market orders, sometimes they also put in limit orders or the vise versa. Although OP is a rare breed of quick keystroke trader. I can’t figure out how ppl do it, more power to them. Amen.
On the other hand who pays for the exchange fees? The MMs or the retail brokerage? Your previous reply implies that it’s the retail brokerage that pays the exchange fees.
Actually, I was implying the opposite. My understanding is that the MM pays/receives exchange fees if they ship the order. Again, I was only speculating, so no idea how much this really happens in practice.!
%% OK then start your own. IF its ''impossible'' then dont try it. You may want to proofread your work; many less errors that way...................................................................................................I would be a whiner/but its counter productive ''every '' time. I also thought that leader @ Citidel over paid for a NY place/too hi taxes; but that's his business +no telling what kind of deal he got in low tax sunshine state
Your posts are getting increasingly incomprehensible with every reply. You appear to be accusing me of having errors in my posts, but you don't give any examples. Other than that, I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.
Trading is one’s personal domain and what works best for you is what you must do even if every other trader you know is doing something else. It is all about making profitable decisions for yourself.
