Does Ram Adapt?

  1. It's not quite that simple, you need to know the exact model. Even better would be if you can crack it open to see what kind it has. It either has regular DDR ram or DDR2 ram and the two are not interchangeable. I'm going to venture a guess that it has ordinary DDR ram.

Go to Kingston's or any other memory manufacturer's website and enter your PC model. It will tell you what type of RAM your computer can use. Then go buy some wherever you wish.

    NO CHANCE IN HELL!!!

Run Everest Home to see (1) timings, and (2) voltage... get more of that. Dell's are notoriously inflexible about RAM.

  4. I see all these 2 gig ram deals after rebates for $30 but my recommended Ram is $120 2 gig’s. Thanks for advice. I guess I will need to buy the $120 ram.
