It's not so much that I'm right, because I know that I am often wrong. And my trading has shown me that I'm more often wrong than right whenever I trade the way I think is right when it's not based on rules. God is right and the Bible is right and both can be trusted.
Sorry @Mickey but that pre-tribulation doctrine is one of the biggest false doctrine ever cast upon upon the church. Scripture teaches right the opposite. Way too many fanciful assumptions are made and taken completely out of context, plus made to say something they are not saying. How many future resurrections are there?
You can NOT do all those things and your trading still be wrong. So why do you think you are right in your humanistic view, your scientific view, or so called “reasoned” view. Does that make science wrong? Or reason wrong? Or of no benefit? Why would you continue to follow science, reason, humanism?
Would you trust a book written today by politicians? Even our best financial advisors are way off mark. The bible was written by humans. Are todays humans smarter or dumber than 2000 - 4000 years ago? Are todays humans less or more godly? Human back then are just like today, the difference back then, they were full of superstition and believed more myths. As for "led by God", why aren't there special people today led by God performing miracles? Making Arks and splitting the sea in half and getting spat out of whales after 3 days.
You ask and do not receive, because you , that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:3-4 NKJV.
Thanks for a typical example of bible nonsense, there's a heap more where that came from but I'm not going to start as there will be no end to it.
Years ago when young and stupid, I used to debate religion with a mob of Jehovah Witnesses who every few month would do the rounds and plague the neighbourhood ringing doorbells. That experience taught me one thing, the bible has all bases covered, no matter what argument you threw up, there was always a bible verse to counter it.
I've read the Bible through. Sure, there's a lot of things that are as clear as mud. But throughout every book there is the underlying theme of a God who delights in helping those who trust Him and providing for them forgiveness from their sins. the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. Psalm 147:11 OK, this is a little off topic. But I decided to share it, don't really know why. The LORD did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the LORD loved you. Deuteronomy 7:8 A long time ago I looked up the Hebrew for "setting his affection on you" and one of the meanings is to fall in love with. I kind of like that about God. There's also all the verses about marriage between God and His people, and since a person can't actually marry God, since He isn't a human, He became a human, so now we can be married to Him. I admit that it must sound really weird to others, it kind of does to me too, but even if it is surprising that God would want this kind of relationship, it's actually a really wonderful thing. Marriages here on this sinful planet are not a very good picture of what God intends His marriage to be towards His own where there is no sorrow, pain, suffering, but only all that is good and loving and with mutual respect/honor. We will honor God and He will honor us. the LORD declares...."I will honor those who honor Me." 1 Samuel 2:30 Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges: 7. set his love upon you] The radical meaning of the verb is to fix or bind, and it is used of a man’s falling in love with a woman, https://biblehub.com/commentaries/deuteronomy/7-7.htm
