Does PhD in Finance = smart money?

  1. Does having a PhD in Finance automatically qualifies you as smart money? This is the investment "wisdom" I got from a finance professor with PhD in Finance.

    Road to your first million:

    -Max out your IRA
    -Diversify
-Invest in no load, index fund
-Time and compounding are your friend
-Stock market average return is 10% annually, 1929 crash included.

  2. There should be a thread:

    Road to your first million.

    Marry money.

Self employed in a cash business.

    Of course the old one:

"Start with two million in the stock market" :D
