  5. Any victim of fruad will be allowed to file amended returns and recoup monies paid in err.

    Unfortunately, most victims are domiciled in New York (City) (State). The Fed will just print themoney, but Fl and NY will have to pay in script.

    Ain't that great? If you're fortunate enough to catch a big profit, you pay big tax. If you're unfortunate enough to catch a big loss, you may not recover/offset it over the balance of your lifetime.

    I expect Paulson to announce in the AM that 3 trillion of the US Treasury was invested with Madoff.
