Does Israel have the firepower to wipe Iran off the map?

  1. To Fred:
Whether to do with nukes or otherwise, clear you would love to be the one making the Israeli military decisions.
If you were appointed for the job, can you articulate how you would handle each of the problems that Israel faces from the dear Arab nations and the Palestinians while keeping the country safe.
    Some examples of issues:
How would you deter terrorist attacks to civilians (as opposed to retaliating)

Would you allow all Palestinians Israelis total access albeit the incidents and what they are taught to do? And how would you protect the civilians?

How would you deter having several Arab nations ganging up to attack Israel all at once (as opposed to a nuke)? OR would you risk it?

Would you "give back" land to the '67 borders even if it presents a security issue?

lol - you got it - give it 'em back!

most of what you say i cant agree with anyway. all the israelis i have met HAVE BEEN AGGRESSIVE MORONS, hell bent on pushing people around. they seem almost as brainwashed as being anti pali as the palis are anti jew. your excuse is that it is because of conscription, but i am here to tell you that is bull shit - because many people of my fathers generation were in conscript, and the army teaches us brits manners, respect , humility and the value of human life.

besides, i dont see how giving the land back would present any security issue at all.

sure the palis would still bitch a bit - why not - theyve been hard done by. perhaps you could rebuild some of their schools and just show some common decency for once.

i think it would be very hard for them to be offensive against the israelis if the israelis were kind to them and showed them some charity for once. thats the great thing about love - its infectious.

you lot should learn a lesson from my grandmother - she says GIVING IS MORE PLEASING THAN TAKING (or words to that affect).

do you really think the palis are happier in war? dont you think they would rather have a peaceful prosperous life?

dont you think the palis love their children too?

  6. So much for your sterling character. Do you not think you are being hypocritical?

First you imply if it was you mud wrestling with the Arabs & Palestinians you would somehow come out unscathed and w/o getting your shirt dirty--unlike your aggressive Israeli counterparts who therefore couldn't be finding favor in God's eyes, and therefore his Bible and his God also don't find favor in your eyes (of course you ignored my thread about the religious communities with the lowest crime rate, the lowest divorce rates & the lowest child delinuencies in the world).

You talk about the importance of not hurting others, giving, and not being aggressive.

Two minutes later, you want to meet doodoo in a dark alley?

    Nuf said.

c'mon get real. i only want to meet him down a dark alley so i can give him a big hug and a kiss where no one will see me!

:D <---- this is a little graphic that suggests the comment is a joke by the way. i.e. it means the comment should be taken with a pinch of salt! it means there is no need to take the comment literally, or seriously, or burst a pile over it. if you look closely, you will see i have placed one at the end of the post.

    so how about it doodoo?

I'm not an aggressive moron. Let's meet. :D

When someone sends suicide bombers to kill your children in a disco on a Friday night, or to kill innocent families gathered together for a Passover Seder, it is tough to greet them with flowers and show love.

sure i undersatnd that - but why are they sending bombers to kill your kids? could it be because israel killed their kids?

im not on the palis side here. i know they are less than perfect, but i dont think the israelis are any better - and seeing as they always put themselves as the hard done by victims all the time - when they have tanks, fighter planes etc, it gets hard to understand where they are coming from. if you gave the palis the same arms and technology you people have, im sure there would be less suicide bombers. they would just roll their tanks in to your schools, just as you roll your tanks in to theirs, then hopefully both sides would eventually see the utter stupidity of the current situation and resolve the matter.

currently israel seems to believe (know) it has the greater fire power so carries on thinking the palis will give in some day. clearly this is not the case, as the fire in the bellies of the palis is a fierce one and has lots of fuel to burn - fed by the injustices of israel.

sure - i expect you are a nice guy. i am sure some of you israelis are jolly nice people. i just havent met any in person. i must have met about 30 israelis over the last 5 years, and i would only want to keep the company of one of them - and he no longer lives there. the others couldnt see the problem in literally pushing and shoving people around (physically) instead of using words like 'excuse me', 'please', 'thank you' etc. if someone had a different opinion, they would try and shout people down, and they would refuse to negotiate with other opinions. things were either their way or no way. (most often it was no-way because no one wanted to deal with them). at business functions, they would not talk with customers or other non-israelis. they would only talk in hebrew - including people who were clearly not israeli. although they could talk english, they refused to do so in social circumstances. they were wankers. all the business are failing in western europe because no one wants to do business with them. i am not surprised. in earnings announcements, their sense of humour was to start of in hebrew and then 'realise' their mistake. you could tell they thought it was fucking great to be an all powerful israeli - when in fact, all the analysts and investors just thought they were a bunch of dorks.

like i say, this isnt 1 or 2 i am talking about here, but a good many. they were not all from the same company either.
