that IB could have lost anything. The maintainance for 1 ES is around $1400, the maximum adverse move was around $500. So even those accts that were close to the minimum maintainance req -they were liquidated with the positive equity/cash. Am I being wrong?
If IB or any other broker lost a trader based only on a 10 point slide ($500) that broker is probably thinking ... good riddance.
