Is anybody worried about buffet's health? If this sudden rush to philanthropy might be a rush todo some good because he is ill or had a brush with illness?
His wife is gone already, maybe he found out that he loved her more than his business. It's a wise choice to make important decisions while you're still able to think and execute them and able to enjoy the results of your decisions.

I remember watching him on a cnbc interview once, and buffet said that he would donate all of his money when he dies. But he changed his mind this weekend, and has decided to donate it all while he is alive. Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't talking about him not ever giving to charity, but stepping up the time table for his donations.
