    Hi,

I am wondering anyone here is using Quotes Plus' qp2 service. I notice many of qp2's data come from Market Guide. That raises a question whether it is worth to use qp2's service while one came go to www.marketguide.com for same data.

    Many thanks,

  2. They don't have 20-min. delay data, unlike TC2000. You can only get the data after market closes. Besides, there are more resources--add-ons, discussion boards, etc.--available for TC2k than QP2. Yet, for a similar price (~$30), you also get commodities and mutual funds for QP2, but you can get only stock data for TC2K for the same price.

You might want to do a trial with them to see for yourself.

    stock.

The main reason I ask for www.qp2.com is for fundamental data of stocks. I noticed TC2000 also has fundamental data, but it didn't updated promptly as Wordens focus on technical analysis. Secondly, unlike IBD's 197 industry groups, the TC2000's classification of stock's group are out of date.

Thus my question really is which one has best fundamental data with affordable price. ($87.33/month offer from www.dailygraphs.com for corresponding service is too expensive)

    Thanks again,

I've found VectorVest pretty useful for fundamental analysis. If you haven't tried it yet, go to www.vectorvest.com
However, technical analysis is a bit weak, IMO.

  5. The big attraction of quotes plus is the ability to write custom scans. You can include fundamental data in the scan logic. There are user groups that can provide scan logic for popular patterns, such as those used by Jeff Cooper. Personally, I like it and have found the people who run it to be first -rate and very responsive, although problems are virtually nonexistent. I do wish the data were available a bit earlier, usually it's out at 7:30 or so. The downloads and scans are VERY fast on any decent computer. Typically it only takes a few minutes to run half a dozen scans on the entire market.

I wonder you can tell the URL for user groups of qp2.com.

In terms of user-defined scan, can qp2 scan for last two quarter's sales % change?

I am not sure which data you refer to, end-of-day data Or fundamental data.

    Thanks again,

  7. You can find the user groups from the qp site, sorry don't have it here at hand. EOD data is available around 7:30, I guess fundamental data wouldn't change too much. I believe you can scan for sales % change, but I'm not sure. Probably best to check with them, www.qp2.com I believe is the url.
