    50 inches or more.

I haven't done much research on them, but I know that at least some models can be connected to a computer.

One of my goals is to eventually trade using 2 large plasma TVs... I'm wondering if anyone out there is doing this.

  2. I have a 50 in LCD Flat screen TV and you can definitely hook up your computer to it, it has a PC card. I havent tried it yet but i know its definitely capable. Its made by Panasonic.

You won't want to sit very close... the display will be blurry with large pixels due to the low resolution.

  4. Check out the newer plasmas from LG
I have one and the VGA resolution is 1366 x 768p

I think the image quality is far better than any of the competitors.
I have not used it for trading yet...

  5. Plasma uses about 500W.
It is like a little stove.
Use it in the basement and Winter, not in Summer.

50" LCD? I cannot find any LCD of that size on the net.
The largest available now is a Toshiba 47"

exactly. i have 42" dell-it hot as hell. and it does consume ton of electricity. from my point of view-not practical at all.
what is the main reason to trade on plasma anyway? size? i don't get it.
