does anyone trade nord pool ?

  1. Is it possible for a private / small trader to open an account and trade on Nord Pool. I have a feeling they only want to deal with big investors as the two emails i 've sent have not been replied to !

  2. What trading size are you looking at?
There is a slight possibility that I can help you out.

  3. Didn't OJ Simpson play Nordpool in the Naked Gun Movies??

  4. i just want to see if its possible first , then i'll do some quant 's on the back data , start to trade it in small lots for 6 months , build up a track record then get one of my mates to either back it as a prop fund or be part of a hedge fund strategy.
so it will be super small size at first but may grow substantially.

  5. Then I think it will be a cost issue.

  6. I was emailing with them a bit about a year ago about this. They are geared towards members basicly, so you either have to become a member or find a member to deal with.

They do have their own brokers, so you can actually call in and have them handle orders - I don't really know how well that works though, or how payment/clearing is handled.

I think the exchange has some very promising opportunities, but it doesn't seem like there are any members targeting even professional traders.

  7. thanks - think i'll end up calling them and hassling them for infomation .
I'll tell them i 'm a billion $ hedge fund to get their attention .

  8. Entrance fee, annual fees and 'PowerClick' monthly license are quite high.
