He stole his "system" from Charles Booth. How is he a mentor or a teacher? All you have to do is follow the system, the indicators he uses, and you will get exactly the same results as he uses no discretion he just blindly follows the system. There's nothing to learn from the guy. And again his strategy only works in TRENDING markets which is why he made some money the past month. Yet this whole year he is DOWN, NEGATIVE HE LOST MONEY. Every strategy works in a trending market lmao You're telling me he's "mentoring" you for the past year and you're paying him 300$/month? lol Just admit that you're the vendor and stop promoting your crap services on this website.
Depends what you mean by mentor, using a system that a hedge fund designed and they pushed it out via channels, up +19% this month on single trade via 240m, documented here. It is very difficult to find a consistent strategy, especially one that is transferable. Trading is about psychology, yours and those you are trading against. If there is a system you have to follow it, more or less, blindly, otherwise you need to adjust it to your own style and understanding or build your own. That is complex as you have to go through the complete test, retest cycle covering years to decades. Here's the problem with the OPs approach, they want the provider to prove that they have a solid system, the psychology starts. Anyone with a solid system will not put in much effort to market it, and especially will not put any effort in to prove it. They will provide verifiable information, like the strategist who designed the above system for the fund put out a note on Brexit before it happened, received this little beauty the day of the polls. Brexit GBPUSD Forex Anaysis just Before Polls Close Favour Exit @ Resistance You can verify the information, but that's it. With mentoring or just about any other service in life, people can in hindsight adjust the figures to match what they want simply by choosing the reference time period, or worse. The ones who put out information pre-event are the ones to watch, when they do that 2 or 3 times, then they know something others don't!
well u not looking for mentor , u looking to be adopted the problem is that not every kid (even not adapted) is teachable i use to say that you can not teach trading, but it can be learned... but not by everybody now i changed my mind - it can be taught, but again not to everybody anyway if u will find the mentor, he will do it for free
lol Mentor is a sucker deal in trading. I tried to find exactly what you were asking years ago when I was a newbie. There was a guy named David Elliot who was supposedly a big time trader. Wrote him some sympathetic story like you did, he let me into his super secret special trading room for free. Mentorship. hahaha Totally worthless. Half the time the guy was asleep or distracted. His real deal was selling these "strategies" which were all just cute graphics but lagging. So worthless. And his other deal was steering newbie traders to PFG Best, which was a crooked FCM that went BK. Owner in jail. Elliot died of cancer RIP. And I ended up ditching all of his strategies. Instead I just cracked books and read and practiced. Most of trading is psychology. Yours and the market. Technical analysis is easy to pick up. That's the answer. Work. Practice. Study. Even if someone were to sit next to you and tell you when to pull the trigger, you won't be able to do it on your own because building confidence comes from you not a mentor. Anyway, keep ringing the bell. Someone will sucker you out of your money. lol
If anyone is into vegan diet, remember to take some healthy fats (both omega 3 and 6), for example, flax seeds and shelled hemp seeds.
So I guess you don't recommend the all you can eat pancakes at Denny's with barrel of lard? Too late. Hey it is 4 bucks and celebrated losing 30 pounds in 68 days, they made me 8 of them and took 6 of them home with me, WOW, I got so full so fast. No meat, that nitrate will kill you. Vegan just too hard on me, need eggs and fish or I'll pass out. My goal is 10 pounds a month. My favorite drink is V8 and of course Starbucks Pikes coffee.
The same Pretenders that were mentoring 10 years ago and longer are still out there reeling in the suckers. Why is it so hard to ask a Mentor to show you his real money monthly statements for the past three or four years? Oh, sorry, I forgot, mentors don't trade real money.
Good post 007Arb You are correct. If a mentor can not show you their real account statements, then add that to the risk column you are taking. However, I have notice that some mentors I use to listen to in the past do have valuable market expeirence to offer to newbies. So its a give a take. For example, there was one chat room I paid like $50 a month for, and after a 2 months, I summed up the mentor as a just a gambler for the most part and really didnt have a detailed plan. He just take trades wildly. however, he did teach some risk management that I still use til this day. Also, use their trial period to see if you like it or not. Its not all about making per say in the beginning, its really about understand the dynamics of the trading business and an experienced trader knows all the litte "gotchas out there" All in all, I don't see nothing wrong with a mentor, but you have to be a very fast decision maker and say to yourself "What is the cost of learning from this person and time loss" know what I mean?
I have found that cost of seminars I went from $15k to free, made no matter regarding worth, if they bought to me ideas that were stepping stones in my knowledge, then they were worth the cost, only a couple were trash. I found 99% of the books I bought either didn't work, often times they were filler, and always were like missing a chapter. For me the psychology books and courses were useless and this is why, dealing with emotions and lack of control often go much deeper than trading, trading bought them out as loss of money and or making money brings stresses that were never touched upon in normal life, to overcome my problems I found hypnosis to work best. I am not a believer of discussing my internal weaknesses with a shrink as I don't see any fruitful resolve, in other words if you don't believe-not going to happen. I think in any profession, if you have that internal drive, perseverance to overcome many of self weaknesses, go against the crowd and test your brains out, you might have the ability to develop those missing chapters, but it is going to cost you. Your life becomes very much of tunnel vision for number of years, often told "the lights on but no one is home". And at some point you might forget the "whys" of doing all this. Very few people understand you, you lose patience with other people, and often times simple don't care. I believe there are some incredible good systems, but never hear about them as developers keep quiet. And I think what they are using is not readily available to 99.999%. And some is like information-some people have it and rest don't, those who followed Buffett buying AAPL have done well.
