If I leave it running for a few hours it hogs an increasing amount of CPU time until eventually I need to bomb it and restart it.

    God I hate JAVA

Look at the size of log.mon, log.tue etc files in ibjts or jts subdirectory and delete them if they are very large. I have had to do this twice now and free up 15gb every time.

A log file of this size indicates that something is not as it should be. Could you please send me the entire log file, or at lease 100-200 repeating lines from it? Thanks.

dont: If you are using Interactive Charts, try not using them and see if the problem goes away.

I am not sure if my experience is relevant or not.

I submit many orders simultaneously using baskets. My system typically froze for a while during the submission process. I unchecked the box next to configure->misc->audit trail and the problem went away.
