Does anyone actually make any money paying tickets?

  1. It seems that most of us prefer per share fees over tickets. I'm curious to know if there is anyone here who actually makes a living and pays ticket fees (let's say $8 or more per side, not including pass-thru fees), provided :

    1)at least 50% of your trades are intraday;

    2)you average 10 round trips or more per day;

    3)most of those trades aren't LU, ORCL, QQQ, or any other super high volume stocks (over 10 million shares per day).

    I definitively prefer tickets.

    1) 100% intraday

    2) Between 15 and 40 tickets a day.

    3) I only trade equities with 1 million exchange shares a day ( 3 mios is better)

    I do not pay for ECN fees ( 1 $ per ticket) Nor SOES( 50 cents per ticket) + 8,95 $ per ticket.
