There are many platforms available in the market but still MT4 is one of the most preferred one as most of the people still use it due to its user friendly interface.

Its most widespread platform among forex brokers and traders. Its popular because its simple for newbie to start off as well as challenging and customizable for vets in forex. I also tried CTrader but its better for futures and options and MT4 is for CFDs

That has more to do with crappy brokers than MT4, which is just a technology platform. You have to be careful - most MT4 brokers are bucket shops, there are a few reputable ones though.

NinjaTrader is a whole different world, albeit that the "NinjaTrader vs MetaTrader" discussion is always a huge and complicated one.

I am not sure whether I should agree with you. Because, now I am stuck with Ninja with a running error that is neither grammatical nor logical. And the support team is still working on it.

While I am happy to hear that Ninja can run a "Monte Carlo simulation". Never heard that before.

Anyway, I have invested a lot of time on Ninja, and that is what we call "sink cost".
