Does anybody know of a daytrading firm that sponsors H1B visas? I'm going to call Sonic, Worldco, Generic and anybody else that's hiring. But if anybody knows of a firm or runs a firm and is willing to sponsor, please respond.
I doubt any of the firms that require you to put up your own money will enable you to get an H1-B. You're technically a customer and you would probably fall under B-1 (6 month vistor pass), and possibly TN. I know some guys at Bright in Vegas and Detroit that are getting B-1 to trade. But they have to go home every 6 months to renew. I think if you were hired at a firm like ETG or Schonfeld you would be able to get an H1-B (because you are under contract and the hired you for an actual job). I'll actually be talking to my lawyer about all of these issues in a couple of hours. I'll let you know. axe
