  3. Bring on the 80% retraces...why do you guys look at that as a bad thing??? It's the best part about Bitcoin...it shows you it's cards every hand. :)

    5. Governmental authority. Reasonable understanding about modern currency is that it is backed by taxing power of a state.

And I'll repeat it again bitcoin will never be used as a main source of monetary exchange ....ask 100 random people if they ever used bitcoin and 100 will tell you they haven't ....it will never be used what it was originally intended to be used for and now that the government is involved it just completely goes against its own agenda

  6. Actually, best about btc is its volatility.

People complain about btc going to 70k, back to 15k, up to over 80k...

But exactly that is the best about it.

Its a 4 year cycle, and you ride it.

(in the end, most still cash out in $ though... thus, why the price goes back down, again).

Ok, but you've never used these apps so you have no idea that these apps are doing 100's of millions of $ worth of daily transactions, some in the billions of $ of daily transactions

nor would you know that there are over $17 Billion worth of crypto assets stored in AAVE alone

yet you comment like oh it's just a simple toll or whatever analogy is in your head

Yes, from a development end using their sdk tools. It was simple back then and easier now without needing to program. Photon charged 1% last I checked

decade ago i heard about bitcoin from a chinese IT kid fixing company issued thinkpad laptop, he installed a mining application on my laptop. i thought it was fun, like the seti program running on the background. of course it didn’t mine a thing from a laptop. bought some coins from coinbase around 800 per coin, sold them at 2k, then re-entered few times to 9k.

small pocket money until the pandemic when us fund managers are talking about as an asset allocation for trading.

i am pretty sure this chinese kid is a millionaire multiple time over by now. and by estimate the chinese probably own/hide nearly half of the coins.
