Correct me if I am wrong, but it was created by solving puzzles and is not backed by anything. It reminds me of video game points. And, no, I don't play video games.
Just because btc is an "alternative" does not automatically make it better. But don't let me stop you from your black-and-white thinking. You're clearly very good at it.
How would you know what is better and what is inferior if you don't actually research the properties of fiat and the properties of Bitcoin? But don't waste your time on me anymore. You like what the government is dishing out, so stick with that.
It's not made out of nothing. According to Saylor there is $40B of hardware equipment and 20 GW (i think) of electricity required. That is 18 full nuclear reactors required to run Bitcoin. All of this... just to generate a random number. So it's worse than if it were made of nothing as there is a big toll on the environment and the electricity grid.
bitcoin has a new narrative with the naysayers "a trading instrument" A lot better than, rat poison, utter bullshit, tulip mania. among other things, i guess Bitcoin is the best and greatest money in the history of the world
I don't understand what you mean by "not backed by anything". Obviously it doesn't create itself, so I'm assuming you mean it's not backed by anything physical in nature? Is that what you're saying?
