NEW YORK (AP) â Bank of America will start charging debit-card users $5 a month to pay for purchases Screwing over 1 American at a time.
Leftists are always told, costs are always passed onto the consumer, there's no such thing as a free lunch, and it was an unintended consequence. I don't use debit cards; they benefit the bank only. I always use credit cards.
I pay a fair bit more than $5 a month for my debit card, but it does allow an unlimited number of transactions. I could pay nothing on it, if I kept my trans. down to something like 10 a month, lol. Credit card is not an entire solution, you may pay it off every month, but you still have a yearly fee (for most).
I dumped BofA last night. Been looking for an international bank over the last week or so and settled on HSBC.
