I heard a very similar rant from a villager guy after I scared off a muti magic witch doctor who was selling baboon foetuses as human (younger the stronger so what beats a foetus right?) to cure Aids. We think we are so advanced as a civilisation but it wasn't until five minutes ago in relative time, our medicine was just the same, a confidence artist's game. The same villagers angry the placebo hope was taken away. Faith/belief is powerful stuff. Most recover from Covid perfectly well whether that have taken medication or not. Think about how fervently believing only Ivermectin can cure you leads to a drop in stress when you get some.
Agreed and I’m not advocating the sole use of Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, any drug. But if a licensed physician working with their patient believes the use of any drug may be of benefit, it should be of no concern to any arm-chair doctor/ internet troll. The illegal prescribing of drugs, pain med-pill farms, is a serious problem, personally know friends who’ve lost loved ones from it. It’s a travesty to use policing laws, protocols designed against such as political tools as GWB would.
In January, the NIH also said, "Doctors can prescribe Ivermectin for Covid treatment". Doctors don't have to wait on the FDA for approval of Ivermectin treatment for Covid.... except as politically required by their employer. It's tragic that so many have needlessly died for money, political and power/control reasons... while being denied "best medical treatment".
Let's get to the reality... the State AG of any state is unlikely to prosecute a doctor for prescribing a drug -- even off-label. There are far bigger cases for a State AG to be concerned with. However if a doctor is effectively a pill farm or prescribing doses of a drug which endanger patients (and cause calls to a poison control line) then they are likely to attract the attention of the Feds or the State AG. It should be noted that state medical boards have already revoked or suspended the licenses of medical professionals who large-scale distributed vaccination excuses, mask excuses, fake vaccination cards and prescriptions for off-label medicines to treat Covid. Multiple examples of this have been cited in these threads. It should be noted that the manufacturer of Ivermectin, Merck, says if it should not be used for treating Covid. The FDA states Ivermctin should not be used for preventing or treating Covid. The WHO also states that Ivermectin should not be used for preventing or treating Covid -- except in medical trials. All the major medical associations in the U.S. state that Ivermectin should not be used for preventing or treating Covid.
What does that have to do with our conversation? You quote the obvious as an argument. the State AG of any state is unlikely to prosecute a doctor for prescribing a drug -- even off-label. Doh! Zero bearing on our conversation. Why would they? However if a doctor is effectively a pill farm or prescribing doses of a drug which endanger patients (and cause calls to a poison control line) then they are likely to attract the attention of the Feds or the State AG. Doh! Again the statement by itself has zero bearing on our conversation. If they’re breaking the law why shouldn’t they. It should be noted that state medical boards have already revoked or suspended the licenses of medical professionals who large-scale distributed vaccination excuses, mask excuses, fake vaccination cards and prescriptions for off-label medicines to treat Covid. Multiple examples of this have been cited in these threads. Obvious, again, no bearing...... your twisting facts. Just accept the fact, if a licensed doctor legally prescribes a drug to a patient there’s no way in hell a pharmacy should be policing the intent of the doctor or bending existing laws to enforce a political agenda.
Anybody here lives in Nebraska and plans to seek a Doctor for the purpose to take Ivermectin ? Why in the fuck debate about it when a person can purchase it over the counter or thru the mail ? wrbtrader
Not being cute but my intelligence fails me trying to grasp how you seem to have interpreted what I said about placebos. Fuck it, @wrbtrader is right, it's widely available on the black market and everything illegal tastes better, just like smuggled whiskey & cigarettes.
These guys know exactly how to use Ivermectin and I'm sure they didn't need a prescription... wrbtrader
Yet every major Pharmacy chain; CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. currently has polices in place against filling prescriptions for Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine without checking with the prescribing doctor who needs to be local. For the most part none of the prescriptions for Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine are being filled by major pharmacy chains.
Here we go again.. currently has polices in place against filling prescriptions for Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine without checking with the prescribing doctor who needs to be local. So? That doesn’t negate the argument. Let them check, if it’s legit, fill the prescription. We’re not talking about illegal prescriptions here. For the most part none of the prescriptions for Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine are being filled by major pharmacy chains. I beg to differ, every legitimate prescription is being filled by chain pharmacies as well as local. Noncompliance is your opinion snd spin.
