Dobbs: Keep religion out of politics

Discussion in 'Religion and Spirituality' started by ZZZzzzzzzz, Sep 27, 2006.

  1. I am against censure of speech. However if non taxed church funds are being used to pay for advertising, fund raising, money to candidates etc. that is political in nature...that is a different story.

  2. Those words about our human rights are not denominational, and have no political nature in them.

Registered tax exempt churches are legal entities, and thus bound to follow the secular laws.

  3. That you don't see the difference between a church and a trade union, newspaper, business or civic organization demonstrates just how spiritually bankrupt you actually are...

You never hesitate to sink to deeper depths of depravity in your thought process.

  4. They don't. But the moment the Church files for tax exempt status, they surrender themselves to the tax codes and secular laws.

Why do the faithful as demonstrated by membership in a "church" have any less right to collectively lobby on issues of common importance vis a vis campaigning than any other organization? How is that activity any worse (not that it's up to anyone else to judge) than a newspaper who's in the business of unbiased reporting turning endorser.

Individuals and institutions have rights to peaceful political assembly. It's clear that good folks like you view Christians as a threat to your anti-family agenda of homo marriage and abortion on demand.

Do you favor the employment of human monitors in U.S. Mosques when there's a danger of Islamic clerics urging violence?

It has to do with tax exempt status. It is that simple.

Individuals and institutions have rights to peaceful political assembly. It's clear that fuckheads like you view Christians as a threat to your anti-family agenda of homo marriage and abortion on demand.

I don't view real genuine Christians who strive to be Christ-like a threat at all.

It is the full of shit so called Christians like you that are the problem. Full on materialistic, greedy, racist sons a bitch Christians who embrace what Christ spoke against.

    Call them republiklans...

Do you favor the employment of human monitors in U.S. Mosques when there's a danger of Islamic clerics urging violence?

If a legal wire tap is granted by a Judge according to the law based on solid evidence that a wire tap is actually necessary to maintain law and order...

Hopefully you'll note for the record who instigated the personal attacks. muZZZlim can always be expected to exhibit the same emotional I.Q. as his fellow Islamists around the globe.

  10. Does it matter. Be coy in your personal attacks. Reverse psychology. Covert verbiage. Make 'em think. Be the bigger person. Etc.
