do zacks and interactive brokers use the same trading software?

Discussion in 'Retail Brokers' started by stockmarketbeginner, Jan 20, 2018.

  1. Hello,

I saw Zacks has $3 trades, which is great. However, I looked at their interfaces (desktop and web). They look *extremely* similar to Interactive Brokers' interfaces.

Are they using the same stuff? That would be somewhat odd.

  2. Sorry... I just realized there is a forum category named Trading Software... would have been better to place this post over there.

    Not odd at all.
The magic words are "White Label."
If you google IB White Label, you'll see a bunch of TWS users.

Not a good thing; nor a bad; just a company realizing that there is room in (their TWS) world for other players, who might pay them(!!!) for products/services (like TWS and account admin.) that they've already funded/paid-for. A good deal for IB, a good deal for the White Label user, and a good deal for the customers of both. (So, that *is* a good thing. ;))
