NYOB - you should demand a commission rebate equal to your average expiration friday profit. That's crazy what they did, imagine if you had a large position on overnight.

As for the original post - day's like today are perfectly ok as long as you just stick to what you know, and don't go gambling outside your sphere of competence. Even if you don't want to trade it, why not just sit and watch what happens? That's the only way you'll learn how to handle these conditions, by learning and gaining experience.

So nobody could trade today? Who was watching the risk of the remote traders? Seriously man, there is a major problem here. This must be a sub LLC right?

  3. I would agree with Mav.
    This just doesn't sound right.

  5. I agree. easy short early, and easy rally later. Smooth down, smooth up.

Its ludicrous to predict market action a day ahead of time. Shit can hit the fan at any minute, or a market can die at any time.

  6. For options expiration today just love how intc closed right on 25, msft 29.99 and the qqqq at 50

  7. Yep, I'd be inclined to fade any "pop" out of the box Monday morning.
