Do you make trading decisions more with left brain or right brain?

  1. OK. One more try.

Since when is "understandable" a test of either veracity or utility. I could say "she's a bitch" and most would understand me but would it be true or would it be useful?

On LBRB .. here's a the conclusion of an article that might help enlighten one about the utility of this old myth:

"Such brain-aching complexities mean that this new line in hemispheric research is still in its early days. But at least there seems no prospect of a return to the old left-right caricatures that inspired so many self-help books exhorting people to liberate their right brains and avoid too much sterile left-brain thinking. As Fink says, whatever the story about lateralisation, simple dichotomies are out. It is how the two sides of the brain complement and combine that counts."

And if you want to work on your mind then you could look for more accurate models in my earlier references. But you could also simply look at what tested psychological theories offer. Try Brett Steenbarger's work:

  3. This should read:

Do you trade more with your

    a. left nut
    b. right nut

'cause you need big ballz to put on size lol

  4. My right nut is slightly bigger. At least, that's what I've been told.

  5. thank you silly-girls for your contributions, we all know how nuts you are with your need
to talk about the 'naughty bits' and bodily functions

    so, the article tells us:
"Everything went pear-shaped," says Marshall. The pattern of activity was utterly reversed." — oops !
"As Fink says, whatever the story about lateralisation, simple dichotomies are out.
It is how the two sides of the brain complement and combine that counts."
and the viewzone article told us:
"Ideally, both brains work together in people with optimum mental ability.
This coordinating ability may be the key to superior intellectual abilities."
you're being repetitive kt and still not presented an alternate model, and
it's about brain, not consciousness, not mind

meanwhile, if you want to test your bicameral/hemispheric/lateralization bias/preference:

My first thought was: not everyone sits in the front of the class, we enjoy the class but unfortunatly these are the comments you'd expect from the back row. That being said; I wonder.

Has anyone ever determined if the front of the class is left brain and the back, right brain?

  8. In Liars Poker, during training, the back row was placing bets on how long it would be before the orientals in the front row fell asleep.:D

  10. Hmm. Someone once told me that "no one in their right mind trades the markets." So, I guess that leaves the left.
