Well you can take the plastic red nose and stick it up your ass. Stats are more reliable than your word. Most of those folks don t/didn t sound like middle aged healthy people either.
Talking of someone seeing several relatives hit, looks pretty bad although when it comes to Khabib's dad, it appears he had serious health issues beforehamd : https://us.yahoo.com/sports/khabib-...esulted-in-deaths-of-relatives-222036087.html
What excuse ? For those 2 people who passed there are supposed to be 200 to 500 who survived the virus and over 10000 who avoided it, although I ll understand it is of little comfort to you if you were close to those 2 people. I still know quite a few elderly and none has been harmed afaik, at least by the virus, and in countries badly hit (Almost) every single family I know seems to have been harmed by the lockdown on the other hand, to various degrees, sometimes pretty badly, and more damage will probably show up later on.
Lol ! Destriero disappeared, an healthy trader in the prime of his life, another one of the coronavirus collateral victims I'm afraid, even the plague wasn't that nasty !
I know 6 people through 1 degreee of separation, not anyone in my immediate circle but related to people in my immediate circle. 2 died sadly but not representative stat. 5 of them were in NJ and NY actually but they were hit rpetty hard. My area has cases/deaths but really really small % thankfully.
My sons co-workers girlfriends boss had Covid-19. He said it hurt like hell. That is as close to the virus I have been.
I know one person in North Carolina who had it. He is a retail store owner and was moderately sick for two week but not hospitalized. He said it really sucked and he had all the typical symptoms. They contact traced all the employees and customers --- and had them isolate themselves for 14 days. I heard that none of the employees had symptoms. I went to high school in Long Island N.Y. in an area that is basically a hotspot. A good number of people from my high school class got it. Several did not survive it. Most of these people I have not seen or spoken to for decades... but I see information about them in our high school social media communities. One common thread among the most serious cases seemed to be that all of them still lived in Queens or Long Island. All of them commuted to work in New York City via train/subway. Everyone is in their mid-50s.
