Do You have other talents Besides trading?

  1. From the boxing matches I've seen, the muscle men always lose. From my previous association with the building trade most lads therein can shift almost any weight but they're cardiovascularly fit too.Drugs are for mugs.

  2. wow, arnold! i never thought the day would come that i'd ever be compared to Arnold! thanks, i guess.

for real, tho, it's genetic. i hava picture somewhere of my dad when he was 19 in Jamaica, and he was bigger back then than i am now.. and that was just from working on my grandparents farm in the late 50's, early 60's. he wasn't ripped 'cuz i doubt he did the cardio i do, but he was naturally big. if i find it, i'll scan it and post it.

as far as the steroids, i swear i've never used them in my life. i'd freely admit it if i did. both my dad and my sister have weak livers and kidneys, and my mother and grandmother (her mother) had heart attacks. assuming that i have the predisposition for these illnesses, there's not a physique in the world worth dying young over.

  3. true.. almost every young trader i know hits the gym and lifts after the close. although i love hitting the weights and the heavy bag after a bad day, relieving stress isn't my main objective. ever since high school i realized chicks had this unusual fetish for abs. so if a ripped 6-pack was what they desired, a ripped 6-pack was what i was gonna give 'em.

now as i get older, and my metabolism is slowing down, it's harder to keep the fat from gumming up my midsection.. so i gotta put in more time at the gym to maintain.

talented boxer but im not hungry enough to make sacrifices
I wanted to be a marine but not anymore.

Dad was olympic alternative as a boxer and he was hungry but he joined the marines and got sent to vietnam.

I don't know if I fit the "trader characteristics" or if I was just following my dad's foot steps. Oh yea! I used to be competitive when I was a teenager, but not so much anymore.

edit: I've done some light mma back when it wasn't so well known when I was in high school. Pretty much just trained basics with military and competitors for exercise. I was often used as a dummy, at least I felt like one.

I dunno about aikido, but judo is great for slamming. so is ju jitsu whether its japanese, brazillian, machado, watever.

  5. It's funny you said that. I went to Sammy's office last October to watch him trade. Everytime he stretched his arms out to type on the keyboard, the veins in his biceps looked like they were about to bust. I was tempted to ask him if he was juicing, but felt it would have been rude considering I just met the guy. He seemed like a straight shooter, so I doubt he'd lie about that.

Hockey player here, too. Ordered chaos in a rink. I also love poker and black jack. Snowboarding, water skiing/wakeboarding round out the adrenaline junkie side. On the more relaxed side, I'm a guitar player of 20+ years. Used to be an audio/video mastering engineer and I enjoy recording.

  7. Besides the usual blackjack and poker, I've been a kayaker for 13 years. I also mountain bike.

  8. Horsesh*t... I am not convinced that Sammy doesn't juice, but from the looks of his photo it's obvious that he has superior genetics. You don't get pectoral-width like that simply from gear. He's fit, but I've seen guys much bigger who were natural.

BB'ing genetics fall into two categories; size and/or symmetry. Sammy doesn't look very large at roughly 9-10 bodyfat. So he very well could be natural.

    Sammy, work those lats!
