Honestly, I think that having a business has helped me become a better trader because it calms my nerves knowing that trading is not my only source of income. Now the profits from trading are outweighing the profits from business.
Negative income counts right ?? Trading very very part time, maybe 1 hour here or there but large amounts stops me going insane, if I sit here and go MAKE MONEY then I suck.
Interesting, its not scientific but I dont see any incentive to lie. Unless non successful traders are not participating as to not reinforce the unpleasant reality?? Its hard to imagine half of active posters are career traders, i could be wrong. I know its not a big sample but...
which box in the poll did you tick? add a poll point 'none of the above' FWIW, I'm a retired senior that trades infrequently, definitely not a hobby.
Could also just be the 1's that tick the boxed, the not profitable 1's just got to a corner and cry. For me business went dead so wasn't really a choice, +$496 I think I posted in journal last week, not bad for maybe 4hours of trading time mind, but there is no Ferrari's in my future LOL
box 2 whatever category you think fits best, if you're a senior but are making livable money trading then box 1 would be ok because technically you could consider yourself unretired and a trader.
