Do you encourage your children to trade?

  1. Do you give your children candy when they make money or do you pay em?? And do you hit em on the ass / deny them chocolates when they lose money?

  2. Hmmm, I wonder......has Don thoroughly exploited the marketing and recruiting angle of this?

His are some new pitches he could use:

"The family that trades together stays together"

    "Family seminar rates available"

"Discounts for children under 10 years old"

"The first 500 trades commission free to all children under the age of 10*"

*must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Think the last line should read

Must be accompanied by a "commission paying" parent or legal guardian

  7. For a prop firm:

"Language and violence not suitable for children under the ages of 18"

"Level 2 screen may cause epileptic seizure even in those not diagnosed with such a medical condition..."

"Children under the age of 12 found trading unaccomapnied will be flattened out immediately, and escorted to the lost and found area"

  8. My 11 year old son negotiated his share of the take with me. On days that he closes a trade for me he gets 10% of net profits. Some days he has sat there for nearly the entire day. When I come home he likes to show me on a 5 min chart the days action and what I missed. He thinks trading is pretty easy. after closing a long position his comment is usually "Dad why don't you short this thing now?" Or after covering a short he has made the comment "if you picked the right time to cover it must be the right time to go long the same stock." Its hard to argue with his logic. I would like to set him up with a trading simulator, he would probably out trade me. (Which by the way would be pretty easy). He has no fear at all and from playing video games so much he can watch alot of action before mental over load sets in. I hate to think of trading against this new breed of super trading kids. :D
