  1. Sorry for being a little straight forward and blunt. Truly.

You, me and Parisboy, who I think might have come by to visit ET out of curiosity back in April of this year. My impression is that I would need to take J. M. Hurst a lot more seriously if I wished to earn Parisboy's respect, but if I'm not mistaken, I believe even he "Liked" at least one on my recent posts. In any event, I'm glad to hear the approach is working for you today...

I had to abandon USDCAD (the trade from post #22) when the pair neglected to follow through after I entered a long position, so I walked away with only a $54.36 profit in that case. However, my subsequent purchase of EURUSD worked out much better!

(P.S. That's one of the perks of the accuracy of the system I use is that even when I'm wrong I can still walk away with a profit.)

Exactly! "To each his own" is the way I feel. But, as you say, I no longer care if nobody (i.e., the "all-knowing sages" here at ET) will take me seriously. My system is now fully developed, so there is no more reason for me to post any of it in these trading threads. When I finish with this one, I don't plan to contribute to any others.

I just jump on short term direction, exit quickly if direction stalls and ride it in the event of a nice little move, kinda what I've got good at, keep the losses 5pts average and the profits 10-30pts area, 2 or 3 losers gets made up for quickly.

I don't most much, too many troll's, too many Snowflakey think there going to die because of Covid.

Average IQ dropped 20pts this year I swear, common sense and reason has been replaced by irrational fear.

    :(

    For Full disclosure..................

NQ was tricky today, was down $300 on NQ, pulled back $200 on that move up into the close so +$183 which I still consider a good day, was -$30 area briefly after all.

NQ was DEAD while I was around, direction change, join new direction, get to +3pts then reverse, 6 losers in a damn row, 11300 kept refusing to break only barely managed it.

My Kingdom for a 30pt move LOL

I presume you like such not strong market ( see your earlier posting about dax)

anyway China A50, Hangseng were moving massively,
NQ - some movement ( around end of eur session / before start of US session),
    dax - very little movement.

Well I don't like crazy 200pt swings, I like a clear direction, which holds for 10-30pts, then I can get most of that move with quite a small SL average being @5pts.

DAX has been good this am, but over slept.

Mondays / Summer Doldrums, just move to trading DAX in the AM if NQ flat again later. ie wake up!

    Update......

Bought the Low Range in uptrend DAX 13002 Long, about to take +10pts and broke out so held it, +40pts x 10lots x 1.19 exchange rate = +$476, guess I might be done for the day, nice!!

Not bad for 10mins and clicking the mouse twice, why make it harder!! :)

My lines have turned down so short near tops, easier said than done live ofcourse.

Let it run best you can, keep loss small if it changes direction.

And hey presto any muppet can make money, just avoid chop or atleast trade chop with weak direction.
