there have been some really great posts here and obviously there are differences and aspects about forex that can make it more difficult. The main thing I have noticed is that you need to be a longer term player, taking positions. The spread on a lot of the pairings is as much as 5 pips if you are going through a retail broker. This is death to someone who is a daytrader as I am.
