I would say have some set aside in case there is a bank holiday. Hide it well!

 

You keep thousands in cash and you guard it with a $150 military surplus gun in a weak caliber?

 

I always keep a large cash position as a cushion during rocky periods when I take short positions.

But cash is king now as well, due to the big deflation.

 

Using deadly force is a serious proposition. In addition to all the moral conderations involved, includes surrendering your weapon and never seeing it again. As this an anonymous post I will disclose that it is a secondary sidearm. I keep a few nice sigs as well for concealing and big colt python for open carry.

I feel very comfortable with the stopping power of a 380 at close range, discharging federal hydra-shock, full metal jacket. Additionally the feg is extremely reliable. Cold war, James Bond knock off, but an easy piece.
