Do we Project ourselves onto the Markets?

  1. I talked to a buddy of mine yesterday and we both agree that traders tend to project their own limiting beliefs and world views on the markets and "factually" state that that is why the markets move the way they do.

Case in point: The markets are indifferent to fed policy today.

Translation: Maybe that person is indifferent to fed policy, not as much the markets.

Could be wrong, any thoughts to back this up?
