  3. Already another detailed screwup...

1st 5 min bar has completed.

The second bar is not complete yet.

Partial Second bar right up to the point where the bar has failed to continue in furthur extending the current price limit.

Partial Volume with V' transition underway... (Volume failing to increase; positive V' shifting to null case)...

    Kindest Regards...

  4. Another trendline used for entry on the attached chart.

And, the exit could have been from a horizontal trendline from a higher timeframe chart. (not drawn)

  6. I'm curious as to how you came to use a 50 day EMA with ES.M (front month only) contract data. The EMA will usually not be accurate (not enough days for most of its history), and am unaware of others who use it this way.

  7. Testing.

Go back and look at the intraday charts. I don't use EMA's in isolation. I compare the intraday performance with the daily charts. On daily charts if you went long above the 50 and into cash below, you would beat the hell out of most systems.

I have a method for comparing the two charts (intraday and daily) and using the 50 as a line in the sand. Sorry thats about all I can say about it, other than to encourage you to do some of your own testing.

    Good luck,
    Lefty

  8. Got off my redeye flight late this AM so completely missed all the pre 10:30 action, including a realtime unfolding of the first 2 bars. Apologies for the unravelled frustration I have somehow unitentionally dealt by allowing distractions. I am hoping that Grob109 will allow for a resume as now I see it is absolutely unnecessary to comment but rather to just simply focus and acknwoledge that which is being specified. I am hoping, as are those who are sincere and constructive, that Grob109 will reconsider re-establishing communication since it is simply unacceptable for me to now know that I am doing something that is "handicapping" any progression towards anything that is excellent. This for me, is one of the most frightening items that sits in the back of my mind (ie. nearly second guessing).

    Thread...
As for the day, here is my post 10:30AM trendlines...
Drew in Pre 10:30 ASAP and noted it's first, second, and failing third leg via the 10:30 attempt to reach Resistance. Took the short failure of 10:35 bar and regular unfolding sequences as usual. I noted the pennant as a result of decreasing relative volume maxes... There was a tiny bit of confusion on the 1:00 bar as it had extended past the previous bar as to support a Long traverse, however, volume on PRV was weak and fortunately the hesitant hold was confirmed on the next bar confirmed that the short traverse was in fact still in effect... In any event, the remaining traverses for each of the pair of trendlines appeared straight forward...

    "W" or "M"???

Duard, do you have a revised longer term?

Kindest Regards to all (even detractors below - how about some charts, eh???)...
