Just because you know or heard of some rich what makes you think if you go back you would even make a tenth of what they make? Given you talk so much about smart, rich, and educated people your post contains a lot of grammatical and spelling errors which prompted me to ask this question.
you are correct. I type too quickly. I need 24 hours between draft and edit to actually see what I wrote and improve its style. Frankly, I am embarrassed when I come here the next day and see the errors. I have always admired those who write well. As far as rich, I grew up around wealth in horse country in Greenwich Ct. My Dad was probably wealthy by most standards but not by Greenwich standards. My mom has the money now. My wife and I do OK but we live 4 kids in an expensive areas and pay high taxes. I am a member at a Golf club in San Diego... and I run into some very wealthy people because I tennis and golf . I don't feel like I am wealthy at all but but we are also far from broke. At them moment I we make 6 figures and probably about a tenth of what I would like to be making. I understand how hard it is to be making very good money and keep making very good money. twice in my career I have been making very good money on the edge of really being nicely set up and twice conditions have changed. I am good at innovating and or figuring it out once... I am not good and innovating to stay ahead. I admire those who can take a good business, systematize it and scale it up. That to me is amazing.
You might want to write a coherent sentence (or two) before criticizing Jem's writing... OTOH, this notion that "smart, rich and educated people" are great writers is unfounded. They aren't academics.
Jem, why do you care what this miscreant thinks of your writing on an internet forum? People's posts are not supposed to be formal, they sure as hell should not proof read anything below beyond a cursory review. The internet grammar police really are something.
